A few times many years ago. But I was really bad at it. I couldn’t hold the stuff in my lungs long enough to get a buzz. I would cough immediately, like a kid on his first cigarette. So I never did get high . . . on pot.
But once . . . once . . . over thirty years ago someone offered me a hit on a little clay pipe with some hashish in it. I hit it a couple of times. Now, I’ve always been rather conservative in my musical taste – Frank Sinatra for vocals, swing, jazz and classical music. But that night I was diggin’ Janise Joplin. To this day I puddle up a little if I hear “Me And Bobby McGee.”
I never did hash again, because I knew anything that made me feel that good that easy with no hangover would get to be a habit very quickly. Conservative, or just a wimp? You be the judge.

I have, but very little, never liked the taste or the munchies. Probably if you added up every hit I’ve ever taken I may have smoked one whole joint in my life.
Once in 1991, I took a few hits off a joint, crashed on a couch with weird floral patterns, and saw the face of Captain Picard leering at me from the flowers. Somehow, I knew he wanted to kill me. I haven’t taken a hit since.

I am 32. The first time I ever got high I was 8 years old. My older brother (he was 12) got me high so I couldn’t narc on him and his buddys. I don’t recall feeling really “high” at the time. I’ve been smoking every since (whenever it was available). I usually have a bowl at night after dinner.
Weird. The first time I ever smoked weed was the same day I saw my first porno movie. My brother found one my dad had. It may have been because I was high and didn’t notice, but I remember thinking at the time that there was no way the movie could be real. I mean they weren’t allowed to show things like that in movies. :eek:
Since I was about 16. When I went into the AF in 1973 the recruiter asked me if I had smoked pot more than 4 times. “A day?” I asked. They didn’t test for maryjane back then thank goodness.
Course now I don’t smoke. I vaporize.
2 or 3 times in college, once with my new husband when we were 21.
