I guess I’d call myself centrist, I’m about 80% Democrat and 20% Republican. But not a Trump Republican, that man is dangerous to society.
I think Harris will win and I very much hope she does.
A question then - are you going to vote at all? Because you can dislike all possible candidates, but most of us can at least identify the lesser of evils.
There are people who claim the moral high ground by choosing not to vote, as to not give active support to anyone in a poor situation, but IMHO (the forum) that’s morally inferior to making the best of a bad situation.
Again, entirely IMHO, and I admit the cognitive dissonance can be painful.
not voting for the D in this instance is a vote for rump with all that implies.
if only there were NON rump R people out there. but there are not.
They may not be a large percentage, but there are some.
