Polls: Can Moderators see who posted what?

From what I understand in polls, you have the option of public or private polls. My question is, if you choose a private one (where the members can’t see who polled for what), can the moderators or administrators see who answered which question?

Don’t know. Find me a “private” poll to look at – or start one here as a test – and I’ll take a look.

Hereis the first one I found in IMHO.

Nope, I can’t see any names. Dunno if administrators could, but can’t think of a reason they’d’ve made that distinction when writing the poll program.

Administrators can in vBulletin 2.x; I do not know for certain about vBulletin 3.x or about any implementation of the this board.

I couldn’t see names.

Moreover, when I went into the EDIT function, I still couldn’t see names… nor could I edit the poll to make it show names.

So, note that there is an EDIT function available to mods/admins – if you submit your poll and forgot an option, or whatever, let us know. However, also note that once you’ve decided the poll will be nameless, you apparently can’t reverse that.

Just a note only slightly off-topic: you can see how you voted because your choice is italicized. Just general FYI.
