I’m trying to start a poll ancillary to a thread there, but can’t figure out how. Are they enabled or am I missing something obvious?
Ah okay. Can it be enabled there? I’m sure polling in an Election forum is appropriate.

Well, polls aren’t exactly the point of GQ or CoCC/SR and polls in IMHO about contentious issues that want to turn into GDs or Pittings aren’t just moved, poll and all, to the appropriate forum because . . . why aren’t polls allowed GD and The Pit again*?

*Just MHO but, wouldn’t it be a lot easier to move polls intact to GD/TBBQP when they head that way instead of constantly having to remind posters that IMHO (or anywhere else) ain’t the place for GDs/Pittings and/or tell posters to open sister threads in the appropriate forum if they want to debate/argue?
They may not be the point of the forums…but does that mean it shouldn’t be enabled? It isn’t mandatory to use it. It seems t me that it could be useful occasionally. I don’t see the downside. But maybe there is one.
