Damn it, why does he have to be a homophobe? He could have been the Perfect Pope.
He’s very personable, but he holds the same doctrinal positions as his predecessor, the man who made him a cardinal. Don’t expect any fundamental changes. I had high hopes for him until he announced that he was going to continue cracking down on women religious. I’ve written him off.
