I’ll be coming with Rasa, and we’ll be leaving Fall River around 6. I don’t know if an hour is long enough to get from here to Hopkinton/Upton so it’s possible that we’ll be a little late. As long as we don’t get lost…then we’ll be a lot late.

I just got back from dinner with porcupine, erislover, Pammipoo and Robot Arm. I had a very nice time. 
porcupine was lovelier than ever, and showed surprisingly no cleavage! 
She also tells good stories. Nice to see you again, porc.
erislover is very funny and made me laugh a lot. He drank the one and only beer of the night. And he rolls his own cigarettes. Nice to meet you.
Pammipoo, nice to have finally met you. Thank you for offering to pick me tonight. You were completely willing to go totally out of your way for me, I really appreciate it.
Robot Arm is very cool. He’s very smart and interesting to talk to. Sadly, I never got to tell him about how his screen name makes me think of the robot from the old Lost In Space TV show. I forget his name, but he but he had these cheesy, wiggly arms, and when he got excited he’s flail them wildly.
Unfortunately, Rasa didn’t make it to dinner.

Our waitress didn’t look like a very happy woman, but the food was great. I really had a good time, and I hope to see you all again soon.

I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed how unhappy our waitress was…she looked like she wanted to kick us out, and we were all so well mannered! Imagine if we’d brought out the cleavage and lapdances!
I had a really good time, even if I was really really quiet (I really should be going to bed now…),and now I have an excuse to make it to the next one.

Thanks to erislover, Robot Arm, Pammipoo, and Wicked Blue for coming out to me me. I had a great time. Nothing like meeting Dopers to make me feel welcome in a place I’ve never been to before.
Yeah, the waitress was … odd. “No potstickers! This is a Chinese Restaurant.” WTF? 
I did enjoy myself last night. But yeah, I was rather suspicious of the waitress myself. “No potstickers. This chinese restaurant.” Hey, you take a friggin’ dumpling and fry it, ok?
Strange… I don’t mind drinking alone, and I don’t mind drinking with a group, but I sure would feel awkward being the only drunk one in the group!
