True coincidence on how I found this thread: I just did a search for the term “Boston”. Why? So I could start to finally compose an unofficial list of all the Boston area dopers (IANAS I swear). Why? So I could maybe start PM’ing a couple of you guys to see who might be interested in a Boston Dopefest. Well tdn, you beat me to it.
I would love the chance to meet a couple of you guys, it would be my first time. I work nights, so schedule-wise I’m pretty flexible for weekend or weekday. Conceivably I could be available to go out any day. Just the difference between bbs2k drinking a Sam Adams or **bbs2k ** drinking a diet Coke because he has to work that night.

I’d be interested. Weeknights are easier for me in general. The usual disclaimers apply. 
I sent a PM (ie hassled) everyone who even posted once in the last thread. I made up a list of Boston dopers by sorting through a couple Boston-based threads (mainly the ATHF litebrite incident thread and a thread ranting about the new MBTA Charlie Card). I think I got 29 dopers, and 4 ‘maybe in the area’ peoples. But the list I’m sure is not complete. I didn’t bother those members… yet.

I know I’m a “Jersey Doper,” but depending on the date you guys set I might be able to come. See, I’m actually located in New Hampshire, and as of the beginning of July I’ll have a car, rendering Boston about a two hour drive tops. Just don’t tell What Exit?, kay?
