Boston Dopefest

Anyone interested in a get together after Turkey Day?

Sounds good to me.

Robot, we need more people! Just 2 ain’t too fun

The story of my life.

Three is better.

Pot roast, corn bread, and non-frizzy hair?

ETA: Or maybe somewhere easier for the Salem folks?

I know you’ve got a crush on the waitresses at Durgin Park, but there’s a Mexican place just a couple doors down that I’d like to try one of these days.

Or if you’re tired of Mexican food, somewhere closer to Salem would work for me too.

I’ve been to a lot of Mexican places lately, but since we’re talking about post-Thanksgiving, Mexican might be a nice break from turkey.

I think I know the place you’re talking about, and I’ve been there. I remember it as being pretty good.

I’m in.

Really? That’s awesome.

Are you new to the area?

(I’d also like to point out that you’re the third person to respond, thus making this a list of respondents.)

I moved here a year ago August

That’s 4! Now here’s things we needto consider: Wheelchair accessible, Boston area (South of Lynn, North of Cohassett, East of Framingham)

Are you mocking me? :dubious:

I would be up for it, even if you are mocking me.

etv, when we’re looking for wheelchair access, does that include public transportation or do you drive? (Ideally, we’d be near public transportation for non-drivers, but not all public transportation is wheelchair accessible).

Dearie, I would never mock you. Tease you, yes, but not mock you.

And I really hope that you can make it because you bring all sorts of awesome to the 'fests.

ETA: Wheelchair access makes Durgin Park out of the question, and probably most of Quincy Market.

Love to, even if only for the chance to say “Hi, Opal!” in person. Where/when? How about trivia night at some downtown establishment?

With Robot Arm there, we’ll win.

Yes, but you’ve never seen how she bowls.

Seconded, emphatically.

lorene, I use the RIDE and the geographic parameters I mentioned are their parameters. BTW, I’m ALL FOR a trivia nite!

etv, if you know of any great places, please suggest them. You know where you can go and where you can’t.

Personally, I can’t imagine getting around this city in a wheelchair. I was very aware of that the other night when I was trying to get past some construction. If I was in a wheelchair, I wouldn’t have been able to go home.

I’m in western MA, but I drive over to the Boston area fairly frequently.

Will there be chicks? Or at least board games?

The Alpacas (brother’s band) have played gigs at these venues, so I know they’re accessible and spacious.
