I was messin around tonight and I port scanned myself using Yaps. I looked at the results. Nothing much, obviously, but a whole bunch of Kazaa info came up! That troubled me. Why did my Kazaa info come up on a port scan!? Just wonderin, thought it was kind of weird, I don’t really want anyone knowing my usernames… oh well
Because KaZaa is using your computer. They sell your computing processor time for anyone who pays them. Supposedly, it’s innocent, but who knows?
KaZaa is a security nightmare. Better to delete the damn thing.

I installed it, glanced at all the spyware and crap that gets installed as well, then immediately removed it.
Use Kazaa to download Kazaa lite.
Better yet, use WinMX. No spyware & recommended by The Screen Savers.
