porta-potties at the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial

A lot of Veterans will be visiting the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial this Memorial weekend. They used slit trenches on the battlefield. I guess porta-potties are better than that.

Still, a row of porta-potties looks like crap on a memorial site.

Guess we shouldn’t hold our breath waiting on the clowns in Congress to do anything about it.

Couldn’t they have at least trucked in one of those portable restroom trailers? At least they have running water & flushing toilets.

I don’t see any gender signs on those porta-potties. How will anyone know which one is the “correct” one to use?

That’s a great idea. Lot better than a row of porta potties. Don’t know why the park service didn’t get a trailer.

I would say the trailers would be a bit difficult for anyone who is in a wheelchair to use compared to a single stall porta potty. All the trailers I just looked at have stairs.

This shower/laundry/toilet for the homeless has wheelchair access. It could easily be just toilets. How do handicapped people use a porta-potty anyway?

Extra wide unit.

The user does need to transfer from the chair but the interior is designed to accommodate.
