We have 2 unlocked flip phones that are on the tmobile pay as you go plan. I believe its the $100 gets you 1000 minutes and you have to refill it $10 or $25 or $50 or $1000 each time. So we deciding to go to airvoice since its cheaper than tmobile at 10 cent a minute.
I recently bought the airvoice sim card purchased on ebay. I actually bought 2 of them. Now one of our unlocked flip phones we are going to change the plan to the airvoice $10 250 minute plan. I looked at the form to fill out and i spoke to customer support and they said fill everything out and leave a contact number since we will need to port the number.
I was told that to port the number to airvoice, make sure i still have tmobile acct active thus make sure i still have minutes on this phone to do this which we do. Thus whatever minutes u still have before you port from tmobile to airvoice, u will lose those minutes but dont use up all the minutes otherwise u cant port the number.

I do have the pin number. However how do i find out the tmobile account number? The thing is they set this up at tmobile store and im pretty sure they havent set up online payment as its pay as you go and they refill it. I read online that for pay as you go, its the cell number itself… same one… is that true?**
Another thing. The airvoice porting form ask what is the name and address. The thing is we moved a while back and im pretty sure when they first did pay as you go few years ago, they used the old address. So does that mean we put old or new address? I assume we have to call tmobile to ask them all of this information? Could we find out this information by going to the place we refilled tmobile each time?
I called tmobile and they told me both of those phone numbers… there was no name on the account. Also they told me address is not the address i gave them. We had to moved to another location this year and they told me its neither of these addresses. They wont tell us what address on file is on the acct though but i dont know how its possible its any but these 2. Does anyone know why?

The person did say i could just update the name on accts and address since i verified the info with them on live chat. So does that mean based on this, i just tell them the name of the account i want on it and the updated address, then once they update it… i then go fill out name of acct holder on the airvoice form and the address form and im good to go? **
The person at airvoice says find out all these information from tmobile, then once u do that fill in everything in the form… then to call them in few hours to see if the porting went through. They said once its done, then i make purchase for the $10 monthly plan for 250 monthly minutes and once i do that, then i just switch the airvoice pin for the tmobile pin then its good to go? Can someone tell me who ported recently from tmobile to airvoice tell me if this is the right procedure? The other thing is i want to make sure we set it up on autopay b/c i want the payment to come from my online bank account every month as i would be paying this bill for someone else. If thats the case, just to make sure 100 percent, everything will be in my name right when i do this? Also do you suggest me doing the payment on the phone or online?
Would like if anyone here went from tmobile to airvoice and tell me how their process went.
