well, by now, many of us have heard the news. 6 major US ports have been sold to the United Arab Emirates for something like 5.8 billion dollars.
Is this a problem for you from a national security standpoint? have you any reservations over it? want to jump into the political consequences? what about how george the bush says he knew nothing about the deal until a day or so afterwards? does this cement your belief that the administration is really the onle with the power in the white house?
It is funny how Conservatives are all up in arms defending the deal. They are quick to call librals bigots for questuioning the deal.
I for one would like to follow the money. Who stands to benifit from this deal? I bet they have close ties to the administration.
Bush has been telling us for years how we will not deal with those who aid terrorists. If I recall UAE is one of the very few governments who recognized the Taliban. Supports Al Quaida financially, and had two citizens who participated in the attacks.
I am not against the deal per se, but it sure sounds fishy.
