POS Computer!

I bought you years ago, as a sign of the times. Something to play with and enjoy and ramble around the internet on. I began to learn more and more about you and whenever I could I did what I could to make you run smoother, be happy. Such as defragging you and putting in a new CD Writer. I did my best to keep you happy.

Oh we had our problems at times, such as when you kept telling me that I had too many of one file… and when I deleted one you decided that I suddenly needed that specific file again and it was the other one you wanted gone. But we got past that. I opened you up and blew out the dust, I joyfully upgraded programs and we were happy!

And now you’ve done this. You left me. You decided that now was the time to leave me. When I am stuck with nothing else to do as I can’t afford to pay for cable or vacations. I managed to afford to pay for internet and you do this!!! sobs You just… went kablooey… with barely a warning. and I can’t afford to fix you… I can’t even afford to replace you! sobs Lost… I’m lost without my computer and internet…

[sub]So yeah… my comp went kablooey… apparently the motherboard fried. If this is a result of my roomie attempting to make my comp work better I am going to kill him. See you when I can people.[/sub]

That’s too bad…I feel your pain. My hard drive died a couple of months ago, and it has taken me this long to save up enough to replace it.
How much will it cost to replace the motherboard?

Preliminary talks with the fixer person seems to indicate $300… because we have to replace the motherboard with an upgraded one (my comp is like 5 years old) and upgrade the RAM as well… ugh…

How are you posting this? Has it risen from the dead?

EEP! An undead computer!

Though I think that explains how my comp has gone on this long. I think someone finally staked it through the heart.

But you gotta love cyber cafes!
