Meteor falls from sky near Stanwood
I keep hoping one will fall near my house (about 60 miles north of there), and I find it. That would be cool.
They have. Most* meteorites are ferrous metal. To find some, tie a magnet to a string and drag it around a field. Anything it picks up is probably a meteorite.
- I have a bit of one that is clear, green vitreous. It’s called moldavite.
