I may or may not be fully correct about this, but I believe that up until a few years ago, a forfeited game was ti be recorded as a 1-0 victory in the books for the team that showed up to play. I think it is now recorded as 2-0 instead of 1-0, for some reason. Whatever it may be, no NFL game has ever forfeited with one team refusing or not coming to play.
