I did it, I signed up for twitter. So far I think it’s pretty cool.

Can we get a round robin going here, to each other to our follow list, or whatever the terminology is?

Also what are your favorite profiles to follow? And have you got any interesting twitter stories? I got a direct message from Yoko Ono. (Yeah I know it was probably automated; she follows 176,000+ profiles.) And I just unfollowed Bootsy Collins. I love the dude, but I don’t need a jillion “tweets” a day from Bootsy Collins.

Also Danny DeVito likes to take pictures of his bare feet and post them on twitter.

I was following Wil Wheaton, but he tweets to damn much - I gave up, because I’m not that interested in his cereal.

Myself? I tweet maybe three times a week. I like it, but I’m also very meh about it.

I’m not pithy enough to tweet with any frequency, so I don’t actually use my account to post. I just follow a handful of others. The thing I like most about it is that you come across a serious variety of folks who use it. I kind of enjoy Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner’s endless flood of tweets. I also love that Lauren Bacall (occasionally) tweets. My favorite? shitmydadsays :smiley:

Heh, you guys would HATE kevin smith’s massive long tweets then (I believe I’ve gotten a 16 tweet message from the guy).

Always fun as they only interact with each other, and they’re amusing especially when they have some storyline driven things (usually not related to whats going on in the comics)

I LOVE Bad Banana. Funniest dude on there.
Today is United Nations Day, where you’re free to ignore any or all of your resolutions.

My youngest says if she had a time machine, she’d go back and pick a different ice cream flavor. (Sorry, Holocaust Jews.)

I’m so busy I can’t see straight. But I can see Tom Cruise just fine. Weird.

Planning my Chicago trip. My itinerary mostly involves eating deep dish pizza and wishing I hadn’t eaten deep dish pizza.

I didn’t just start the Richard Gere Lookalike in a Naval Uniform Carrying You to the Parking Garage Service. I’m also a customer.

BREAKING: Obama has authorized 40,000 more troops to fight Fox News.

Now I’m looking forward to a movie adaptation of ‘Goodnight Moon.’ I’d like to see Tom Hanks as the bowl full of mush.

I’ll take the retirement Garth Brooks doesn’t want anymore. I’m not picky.

I unfollowed Kevin Smith when he decided to Tweet non-stop for 24 hours to promote his new book. He’s funny, but not that funny.

Adding totally adding BadBanana to my follow list. That guy could teach Kevin Smith a thing or two about funny.

I’m @Izzbell. I’m not funny at all… moderately witty once in a while is probably the best anyone can expect from me.

What is it with people I’ve never heard of wanting to follow me? Do they just troll for random names?

I mean, my tweets aren’t particularly gripping; I mostly use it to have something fresh on my blog (which Twitter feeds) for days I don’t have time to post — or have anything particularly meaningful to say!
