Just because I order something from an online merchant does not mean that I want to receive daily emails about their specials and other ads and have to jump through hoops to get them to stop sending them. And they give you multiple reasons why you might be so bizarre as to not want them, leaving out that you never requested them in the first place. My email checker’s rules about all the senders to block is getting so long that I’m noticing an actual lag in email delivery, while it checks all of the blocked senders, who did not listen to my request to stop sending me email! JEEZ!

Possibly the most annoying aspect of a website, IMO, is the music that they think you want to hear while you browse the site (ditto the auto playing video, but at least that is usually easy to stop). This is the single fastest way to make me move on from any site.

I also don’t linger on the sites where the pseudo pop-up ad follows your mouse cursor until you close it, making it impossible to totally ignore.

Browsers have had spell check for at least 10 years now. There is no excuse for browsers not being able to automatically correct “.ocm” to “.com”
