would be Polycarp and Triskadecamus. There’s also a fair number of >50 Dopers, whose ranks I shall join next year, provided they don’t jam a hambone up my bum and let the hounds drag me off before that.

Get my third SS check next week at 65 and 6 months. Then a retirement check on the 26th, then a paycheck on Friday. Born on Friday the 13th, my lucky day. Keep working, younguns!

Actually, I’m still pretty active. I climb a local Arizona mountain of 3400 feet elevation almost every day, and when possible, still go to the High Sierra in California and do some of the 14,000 foot mountains, including Mt Whitney.
Of course, I’d never do this if I as in my right mind!

My wife corrected me yesterday, when I said something about being 67. She thought I’d be glad to find out I was only 66, but I would have rather waited until my next birthday. Anyway, it is nice to get a whole year back. I’m glad to find out there are two other dopers besides David Simmons older than I am and one about my age.
No, he’s older. But this thread has been around several days now and since he hasn’t responded, I don’t feel quite right going into details I may remember incorrectly.
And me? I’m older than Zoe, but she’s a lot smarter.
