Basically, it boils down to this: in Judaism, there is an overriding injunction to obey the secular laws of the land (unless those laws are inimical to Jewish values, of course). Therefore, where pot smoking is illegal, Jews should not smoke pot, unless smoking pot for medical use is life-saving (saving life trumps all).

The other issues mentioned in the responses above are more matters of opinion - for example, Jews are not supposed to do things that damage their health for no benefit, but it is reaching to describe moderate pot smoking as falling in that category.
There is no “thou shalt not smoke pot” commandment.
I don’t know about Jewish laws, but I’ve known some Jewish people. One guy, who was older than most of us, introduced us to a block of hash speared on the point of a safety pin. He was a good man then, and he’s a good man now.
Another Jewish friend was emotional. Whenever he got really drunk he’d say he believed that we would have turned him in if the Germans came. Of course we wouldn’t; somebody always took him home.
I knew a couple Jewish princesses, both likeable and accessible. One of them loved a Jewish man, one of them loved a goya.
Whenever I take tests about what reglion do you most closely relate to, it always comes up Jewish. EXCEPT I believe in Jesus. And I like pork.
I believe in Jesus because he’s my cultural messiah. If I’d been born elsewhere it might have been Buddah, or Mohammed.
But I’ll always love pork.
From what little I’ve read about the Jewish religion, they’re way more tolerant than many other religions. Much more laid back and forgiving. And I think Reform Jews eat bacon. (I could be wrong but I think so.)
Come to think of it, I should cultivate more pot smoking, pork loving friends.
