He is one of my favorite authors, but I just read the short story Progress for the first time.
Would anyone care to speculate why iron was so difficult to obtain in this story?
Can’t help…don’t know if I’ve read that’n… But I adore Poul Anderson’s writing. His “Flandry” cycle is brilliant. (Depressing, but brilliant.)
