What about Bud Dry? :dubious:
There’s nothing good to say about Bud Dry.
I surmise that it is wet as well. I’m just extrapolating, though, because Bud Dry has never been cheaper than Steel Reserve.
Why ask why?
::d&r::
Now, now, let’s not get carried away here. Why don’t we all just sit down and discuss this over…um…err…
a glass of Scotch?
Blended or Single Malt?
Too young to remember all the old Ed McMahon Bud commercials where he gave the same advice?
(BTW, the anagram of Bud Light is blight 'ud or du blight.)
Single malt.
I hate Ed McMahon too.
Blended.
No no no, single malts should be shaken, not blended. But if you do put it in the blender, pour down the center.
OK…I realize that it was a joke. But the very idea of shaking one of my single malts…<shudder>.
/draws sword…
Pistols.
at dawn.
Ed was following the script (natch!). At the same time AB ran a series of full-color print ads pushing the center pour to release all the flavor.
Now they’re trying the same thing for Bud Lite? History repeats itself.
Your and my age is showing. That must have been 30 years ago. Or more.
Geez, what did Dawn do to you? Why don’t you fire you pistols at each other, if you’re mad at each other?
Well, despite being very skeptical, I’m willing to try pouring it down the center. But if the results are anything less than very happy tastebuds, less belching and less bloating, I’m gonna have to call beer-snobbery.
Down the side, down the center, who cares? The final and most important pour will always be down the throat.
You must be inexperienced. Depending on how much you drink, that would be the second to the last pour.
I’m experienced enough to know that what you’re talking about is most definately not a pour. That, friend, is called making room.
True that.
