This is a computer-related question and I guess it is allowed here. I checked the computer question sticky and this is not addressed.
How do I get a DVD screen capture? I’ve been asked to contribute some of my DVD/film reviews to a website. Along with that I’m supposed to submit 3 screen grabs per film. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to do this.
My computer plays DVDs with a program called PowerDVD. It is version 4.0.14.3226
Someone else said to just hit “C” and that will do it. That does nothing. He also said I could use the camera icon on Power DVD. I can’t find any camera icon. Another trick was to disable “enable hardware accelerator” and use either “print screen” or “alt-print screen.” According to the program config, the hardware accelerator is already unchecked be default. But the print screen fucntions only work while the DVD player is running. After that it is just a black box.
I just need a jpeg or something to submit to the review site! This has got to be an easy thing. I read a lot of review sites and everyone and their brother can submit screen grabs. Just not me.
