Ok, yes, I play Powerball. I see nothing wrong with playing a game that has ridiculously low odds of winning. Imagine the payout if you do win though? :rolleyes:
However, I was wondering, if you have one number in your set, and the powerball number, do you win anything? I thought you did, but I am not certain. 2 bucks maybe? Another ticket perhaps? Does anyone know?
New York is hooked into Mega Millions…8 or 10 states involved. I guess it’s the same as Powerball. Anyway, any outlet that sells the tickets should have a pamphlet with the odds and payouts. Ask for one where you play.
They say your odds of winning go up tremendously when you buy that first ticket.
I think of lotteries as a stupidity tax. the dumber you are, the more you pay. I only pay $2 a week.
