Using Powerpoint I have drawn a shape made up of a number of lines. I want to connect the lines to create a shape. In Freelance there was a command “connect lines” - Is there an equivalent in Powerpoint?

Does “Group” achieve what you want?
yes try highlighting all the line you did to for the shape. then right click and choose group. this will make all the lines act as a single item. you can ungroup it anytime if you want to do changes.
