This is probably the reasonable attempt I’ve ever seen to try to describe just how big the universe is, and how small all its part are. If you haven’t seen it, you should.

Cool that it’s online. I used to watch it over and over at the Air & Space Museum. It’s available on DVD. I listed it in the thread asking for good documentaries.

Thanks for that - my dad had the book of it when I was a kid in the Eighties; I never new there was a film of it.

Power of 10 (disambiguation) - Wikipedia gives the coordinates of the starting point at the upper left corner of the article, which is also a link to a page to display it with various map software. There are at least 3 markers for the point among the various layers in Google Earth.
