What should the official subatomic particle of the SDMB be?
Note: this poll uses the approval voting method - you can vote for more than one choice. If you want to vote against one choice then you should caste a vote for all the other choices.

No positron? No neutrino? No Higgs boson? No tachyon?
Sorry, I was limited to 10.
I predict the strange quark will win in a landslide.
Yeah, but that last one’s not even a particle.
I like the approval voting method. It allows for all kinds of cool analysis.
Particles leptonic
sure are moronic.
Avoid dorkiness
Vote quarkiness!
Nice. I voted “muon”.
So Arnold, are you testing in anticipation of something?
Tripler
MUON Candidate for US President, 2004
Tripler - read the ATMB thread about the second smiley election.
Oh, I did, and voted. I forgot to look at the timing of everything. My bad. . .
Tripler
But I’m still running for President under the MUON Platform.
i seemed to be able to vote for two particles…
Tars, never heard of the uncertainty principle?
Sigh, anybody looked at the result bars? Again, just like in the last practice poll about our favorite color, their colors neither are correlated to the candidates nor add up to something meaningful. I would love to hear a chromodynamicist’s comment about this.
Well, The “top” and “bottom” quarks were originally named “truth” and “beauty.” I think “truth” sums up the purpose of this board quite nicely, so “top” gets my vote.
Please excuse the random, inappropriate capitalization in my previous post…
So does this mean the SDMB is charmingly strange, or strangely charming? (Not to mention nerdy)
Read the instructions first.
