Prairie Cana-Dopers - How are you doing with the Blizzard?

We’ll form a partnership. I’ll look after your files during ski season, you look after my files during golf season.

Hey, it’s an idea!

Hey, the IMAX is pretty cool…actually, no, it isn’t since it doesn’t play theatrical movies.

Can I go back to Saskatoon now?

(to be honest, everyone I’ve talked to says Regina is a horrible city in the winter, and you really don’t get to see the fuss about it until the snow melts)

With the storm over and hoping that the mail might have been delivered, I thought I’d pick up my mail from my mail box up the road.

Unfortunatly, the lock was seized.

I tried holding a lighter under it for half a minute.

That didn’t work.

I poured very hot water over it.

That didn’t work.

I tried heating it with a propane torch.

That didn’t work, and the flaming lock cover made me feel environmentally guilty.

I tried cutting it with a cutting wheel.

That didn’t work, for my vehicle’s inverter was not manly enough.

I tried cutting it with a hacksaw.

And cutting it with a hacksaw.

And cutting it with a hacksaw.

(It was a Master 2-5/8" Wide Body Pro Series Weather Tough lock, don’cha’know.)

And cutting it with a hacksaw.

And cutting it with a hacksaw.

That worked.

After an evening working at the lock in the cold, I was finally able to get into my mail box.

There was no mail.

So today my ski race is cancelled due to the deep freeze. On Sunday my race was cancelled due to rain. Go figure.
