We have a start, but could still use either a lot more funds or else someone to donate a car (doesn’t have to be new).

Is it cruel to laugh at you over the coding snafus? First post I read this morning and I found it highly amusing.

Working in the ministry might be all that these folks do. It could be their job, or the equivalent of it in manhour terms, and it would make sense for them to look to it to provide them with some means of support. Their needs are probably small, one of which is reliable transportation. Think about how difficult life can be, especially if you’re out in the suburbs or further, without a way to get where you need to go.
Does the minister of your church work for free?
Seriously? Until I was in my early twenties a few years ago I thought that all men of the cloth did it for free.
