Pre Employment UA drug testing

My experience and understanding of pre employment drug ua’s, done at specific labs like DSI or LABCORP is that should one have a “LEGAL” prescription for a controlled substance from an ADHD med or a pain med. It is standard practice that if a POSSITIVE result is found, It is a routine issue that the Medical Review Doctor will contact the individual who took the test and verify the legal RX. If one has a legal perscription than it is marked down as a NEGATIVE result to the party doing the pre employment drug screen. NO EXCEPTIONS.

IF done say at a facility where a HR person does the test, then you likely will be screwed should it be a possitive for any position that requires you to be unaffected my meds. - truck drivers, medical staff, TWA employees, especially the one’s who fly the planes.

Does anyone have any reason to believe that this is not as accurate a description of the process as possible…
