Predict the first NFL coach fired, post season, and the timeline.

Nobody is waiting for the season to end. Rex Ryan, you’re out!

Who the hell is left to fire? McCoy?

John Fox, maybe. Da Bears are just not improving. But Chip Kelly is a better bet to be looking for a broadcast job for next year.

Hopefully this is the end of the Ryans in the NFL. At this point they’ve conclusively proven they did NOT inherit their father’s coaching talents.

Just like his father, Rex Ryan was a phenomenally successful defensive coach and coordinator and no great shakes as a head coach. Rex went 61-65 in the regular season as a head coach, but Buddy wasn’t much better in the regular season (55-55-1), and Buddy never won a post-season game (Rex went 4-2 in playoffs). Rex Ryan is exactly the coach his father was.

Rob is much worse.

Done… [caution: link includes autoplaying video - sorry!]

…and done!
And in surprise coaching news, Gary Kubiak is reportedly retiring due to concerns about his health. That’s a good move on his part - he’s multiple health scares in two cities as a head coach, but it’s at least a little surprising to me that somebody who’s spent so long in the NFL makes that call. Good for him.

It feels like Kubiak retiring there’s a lot of open positions now. And off course every one want’s the Denver job. I think the 49ers are going to have a really hard time filling that position.

Anyone know what’s the highest amount of open head coach jobs since moving to 32 teams?

I missed this news and it makes me so happy! Hopefully the NFL has finally wised up to the fact that Rex is an arrogant gasbag with terrible head coaching skills, last name notwithstanding. What a chump.
