In my experience of lawyers (as their client, so thank G-d not criminal lawyers) for them anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
Final bump. Last chance to get your vote in.
Jury has instructions including manslaughter.
Prosecutions has put on a less-than-stellar performance with their witnesses apparently doing as much to support Zimmerman as to indict him.
Defence has been adequate without being the dream team.
I’ll stick with my original assessment of not guilty of murder or manslaughter and acquitted.
I’ve not been following this thread; have the percentages changed appreciably over the course of the trial?
I wish it had occurred to me to do a daily tracking, but too late now.
IIRC, all of the choices have tracked fairly linearly until the beginning of this week where option 1, innocent/acquitted has jumped from 5 behind to 5 ahead of 3, guilty/acquitted.
This.
Enough said.
Apparently those 74 people are not blind, among other things
At this point I don’t think the state’s argument (or lack of one) is the deciding factor. It’s pretty much up to the vagaries of the jurors. As these threads have shown, people can interpret the known facts completely at odds from the other side.
Verdict is in. Not Guilty. Quick snapshot of the poll results at this point.
