You can’t design the election to take a long time to count the votes by not allowing the votes to be counted as they come in and then use that as evidence that the election, which was not by any measure close, was a close one because it took a long time to count.

Disagree. A few thousand in Georgia; a hundred thou in Pennsylvania. Not millions. Now, there was no evidence AT ALL of fraudulent votes, but because of the Electoral College, this was nowhere near “definitive”. I am disappointed that Trump and the 'Pubes are being such rectums. It’s over, you lost. Oh, and the south lost the Civil War.

I was getting at things like the Texas lawsuit, that was trying to invalidate the votes of a half dozen states.
It’s true that if specifically the votes for Biden in the swing states were shown to be fraudulent, and meanwhile every other vote legitimate, then maybe a couple hundred thousands of votes overturned would be sufficient. (11,780 in one state, for example…)

I’m purely speaking hypothetically. AIUI, there’s reason to overturn a Trump voter’s vote that used a dead person’s name to vote twice, and that’s it. So that’s -1 on the score card.

There was fraud. There’s always fraud. You can’t have millions of people voting and expect nobody to cheat. It’s going to happen.

But there wasn’t widespread fraud, certainly not enough to have any impact on the election. And indications are that per capita, there was probably less than usual.

I think of election fraud as being like rat feces in peanut butter. You don’t want to think about it, but the fact is that there is no way to prevent all of it from getting in. There are even acceptable levels of it in our food system.

Sure but my point is, what cases have been presented? “It stands to reason” there should be a least a couple dozen individual cases of fraud, but the fact that the Trump team has failed to present anything speaks volumes of how clean this election actually was.

Not definitive enough, unfortunately. The long close counts in places like AZ, PA and GA sowed doubts in the minds of susceptible morons. Hence this ongoing debacle. Definitive would have been something like Trump clearly losing Florida and North Carolina and running behind that first night in PA and MI, making it almost impossible for him to claw his way back no matter how the count went. It’s a sad state of affairs that that was the sort of overwhelming victory needed to crush the hopes of his loyal cultists, but there you go.

I think a 15+ million vote margin might have done it, rather than the ~7 million we ended up with.
