Preserving flowers in resin?

I’m not sure what forum to put this in so I guess I’ll start here.

I have some dried roses given to me by my late boyfriend and I would like to find a way to preserve them permanently so that they don’t get destroyed over time. I have a resin paperweight mold and I was thinking about casting them in that but it’s been a long time since I’ve worked with resin and I definitely don’t want to screw this up.

Any thoughts on working with resin and whether or not this would work? Or, any other ways to preserve them that might work better?

Thanks.

Never tried it myself, but this page offers several methods http://www.ag.ndsu.edu/pubs/plantsci/landscap/h1037w.htm

Thank you. I appreciate the link, however these flowers are already dried but fragile.
