“President Elect“, The Old Computer Game.

There was this Apple II E game that I purchased around 1988 called President Elect. It was a strategy game where you were… president elect. If you made it to presidency, you won. A friend wants to know the publisher of the game, so he can see if there happened to any remakes of it, or sequels. He loved the game so much that he also wants to know what other, if any, games the publisher has made.

I searched favorite abandonware site and found that the game was designed by Nelson Hernandez. Its publisher was SSI, famous for their wargames and D&D RPGs.
