Shadow President

I’m curious to see if anyone around here is still playing this game. Mention of it on the web is sparse

What connection, if any, do you have with the publishers or creator(s) of this game?

I’m curious.

I have no connection in anyway to this game besides loving to play it. Nothing like the old classics. I’m seeing if anyone else still plays it in case they know of additional scenarios that were released or any other tidbits.

Good enough for you?

I don’t play it anymore, but Shadow President used to be one of my favorite games. I usually tried to play it seriously, but usually a couple years after the Gulf War, I’d usually end up getting frustrated and nuking all the enmity-level countries, my advisors would quit, and I’d usually end the game with my blood and bulletholes on screen.

I originally burned many hours into my 486 with Shadow President but didn’t play it for years until I found out it worked on Windows XP. I downloaded it for free and started causing nuclear chaos again. Sadly, no additonal worlds were added that I can find which would be nice. While nations tend to condemn each other frequently, full scale world war never seems to break out.
