There’s no chance he’s running again, so if this causes any kind of actual debate, it’s a literal demonstration of why you don’t waste time fighting the last war instead of preparing for the next one
I have a hard time believing that the wife of Biden, who has more private access to him than anyone else on Earth, only saw Joe’s slowness and mental stumbling for the first time on national TV and that she’d seen nothing but him spry and healthy up to that hour.
If what you’re saying is true, and Jill is lying, then what is your explanation for why she is bringing it up now?

I did not watch or listen. But press reports says she actually thinks, or thought, drugs might be one explanation of the debate performance, another possibility being a stroke.

He was suffering from Jet Lag and a severe cold, iirc, and prescribed or even OTC drugs could have caused a debate impairment. I am pretty sure, Dr Jill Biden didnt mean some MAGA snuck some illegal drugs into Joes beverage.
I have known pretty sharp dudes who were on OTC cold or seasick OTC medicines to be pretty out of it.
Something interesting has happened. I heard that story, as well, and I went to the NBC News website to find the actual quote.
The story is not on the home page. Nowhere. Donald J. Trump, Jr.'s wedding is on the home page, but nothing about Jill Biden.
So I looked on the Politics page. Not there, either. The story about Trump and E. Jean Carroll is there, but nothing about Biden.
Seems odd that after giving the story a prominent place on the evening news, NBC can’t find a place for it on their website. Especially since as I’m typing this, some stations on the West Coast are still running NBC Nightly News.
Can’t blame this one on Trump - he’d like nothing more than to keep the 2020 debacle in the news. Can’t blame it on pressure from the Bidens.
My conclusion is that the powers that be at NBC decided the story is a nothingburger and walked away from it.
I just Googled “was Joe Biden drugged” and there are a lot of hits. One wonders what would lead them to delete a legitimate story.
Mostly meaningless. I dont think any sane person, meant anything but legal drugs.
