President Obama, meeting expectations, and reelection...

Especially since it takes all the now-known likely voters into account.

In addition to the myriad of problems already facing him, as someone else said, no president has ever accomplished everything they said they would. This one won’t either, even this one with a solidly Democratic Congress won’t be able to do that.

I’m bracing myself for all of the above but certainly won’t blindly support Obama just because I voted for him. In 2012, I’ll balance all of the above and vote accordingly. If it seems the odds against him have weighed heavily and he has sincerely tried to move the country forward and repair the damage, I’ll give him another chance if he runs. If he truly falls short because he turns out not to be the leader I thought he would be or simply not the person he sold himself as, I’ll look to another candidate to support.

I have to admit though, unless there is some major repair happening in the next four years, it’ll have to be a pretty lousy performance for it ever to be a Republican.

Just to show I’m not the only one wondering this.

Then again, the wonderer IS part of the media, known for groping for something splashy for their pages…
