President "Sore-Toe"

I’ve started getting forwarded e-mails from my last living aunt and uncle. The latest is some birther message of hope that claims the Supreme Court is actually going to hear the case of some attorney who wants Obama to prove his citizenship, but the media is not reporting it, yadda yadda yadda…

Anyway, the point is…my uncle added a bit at the top that said it’s about time “President ‘Sore-Toe’” had to be made to answer.

President Sore-Toe? I googled it, and didn’t get any hits that explained it. What does it mean? Is it a racist thing I don’t get? Is *Obama *the Kenyan word for sore toe? What?

Blind guess: it’s a play on the last name of Obama’s stepfather, Lolo Sotero.

EDIT: his last name was actually Soetoro, which is even closer to “sore-toe.” Some of these birther nuts like referring to Obama as Obama-Sotero as a way of emphasizing his unamerican heritage.

More than that, one of the assertions regarding the non-citizenship of the President is that he was adopted by Mr. Soetoro while in Indonesia, thus somehow making him not an American citizen. IIRC.

I used to think that birthers were a bunch of easily-dismissed crackpots, but I am finally persuaded to the correctness of their ideas.
