Pretty damn cool people, sorted by nationality.

England has Kate Bush (no relation!) and Peter Gabriel, good enough for me to make it The Most Wonderful Country in the World.

Germany has Wim Wenders and Werner Herzog (and my grandma’s family).

France had Jean Cocteau, La Cinémathèque française, and Edith Piaf.

All of which makes me adore all 3 countries.

Shakespeare, the writer of HELLA BADASS characters. You know the guy.

Who or what is “HELLA”?

Major Hijack: I hope I don’t seem rude Scott Plaid (especially since you seem to be one of the few people who enjoy my posts) but the problem isn’t grammar. You seem to get to your point in a very roundabout manner, making it very hard to understand what you want. Take this thread. While it may be true that currently the USA has a bad rep with Other Countries and vice versa, it really doesn’t have anything to do with what your trying to do with your thread. Try being more straight forward. Leave political opinions for Great Debate. Just my opinion.

Constructive criticism. No offense here, just good points. Lets see, if you are right. My threads about themes in stories starts out with an example of one such thing, then has request for more examples. It resulted in excellent on-topic comments only minutes afterwards, This thread however, started out with some examples, plus a statement of why I thought it was a good idea to write this, and what brought me to thinking about it. In contrast, it went to the second page, and then I gave it one more chance by bumping it. Then, and only then where there any responses. They are still excellent, and on topic, but they took longer to get here. Maybe you are right, furryman. I have something to think about. However, I am about to type up a new Cafe topic, about animated introductions to live-action entertainment, (Bewitches title sequences, Mystery title sequence, etc.) and include the reason I thought of it (even before I read your post) in the OP. Politic however, will stay out of it. Lets see if the long introduction is the problem, or the politics.
