We’re into the first half hour of watching this movie. Not bad so far.

I enjoyed this movie–the actor who played Prince Charming was quite charming and devilishly handsome as well. He had a great sense of humor and didn’t take himself too seriously. Good movie.

About 20 minutes into it. It didn’t seem to be the knowing, tongue-in-cheek romp (a la “The Princess Bride”) I was hoping it would be… I might try it again this week, though.
I’ve only seen the previews, but isn’t Christina Applegate a bit young to be looking so haggard? I remember her from “Married with Children” when I thought she was a young hottie, but it doesn’t look like adulthood has been kind to her.
My wife, who had never seen her before, actually made the “haggard” comment when we first saw the preview together. We then managed to catch a rerun of “Married with Children” on TV and she agreed that Ms. Applegate looked much cuter as a teenager.
Or maybe the previews just showed her at her worst?
