Last night I discovered this site:
The site allows you to search profiles submitted by prisoners, hoping to find a pen pal or make a romantic connection. I have no plans of making pen pals, but I was wondering if anyone here has done this, or would do it. I admit, it would be slightly entertaining, but I have enough trouble keeping up correspondance with my law-abiding friends. Oh, in case anyone is interested, child-killer Susan Smith is looking for a pen pal.
