I downloaded adobe elements tryout, wait 2 hours, and get a error message saying “Setup is unable to find installation languages in C://windows/temp/setup.lid file. Error 105”
Any help?

Bump.
You know, no offence intended, but wouldn’t the company you got the tryout from be the correct place to go for technical support?
I didn’t see anything for error 105 or "trouble accessing installation language file " under the support for Photoshop Elements.
That’s when you email their tech support. I admit, using the SDMB as a secondary help method is a good idea. Just don’t forget that the best way to get help is to go straight to the source.
The consensus here is you probably have a bad download (you may have to log in as “guest” to read it, though). Based on your download time, I’m guessing that you have a dial-up connection, which further reinforces the idea of having errors introduced during the lengthy connection.
Related to that, these are the articles from Adobe’s Knowledge Base:

The search term I used was “setup.lid”. Note that my first link goes to a Photoshop (full version) discussion, so try some other terms, don’t restrict your search to only PS Elements, and you might dig up more stuff.
Nope, I have cable, which is lightning speed for regular websites. When I download however, it takes forever.
