You should suggest the school get involved so they can look into it and notify parents if and as appropriate. Even if her shortcomings aren’t all that grave, I’d think it’s likely it would benefit some affected families to be informed. The needs of students in a class like that probably vary quite a bit, one size fits all mentality doesn’t work.
