I wasn’t hiding - I was protecting all y’all from my grumpiness
Today I am taking the family over to finish the frickin-frackin house. The movers left at 2 on Tuesday when it was all supposed to be finished, so, not finished. Hopefully <knocks wood> we will finally be done and out today. The delay cost us a week in listing the house. I am generally grumpy on this point. I will join the grumpy chorus.

Howdy Y’all! I am in from the cee-mint pond. The others are still there, or rather, went back out after the rain we had a little while ago. I decided to head on in and shower. I have a N.O.T. casserole ready to go into the oven in a while. It needs about an hour to bake. Steaks, the casserole, spareguts, rolls and for dessert watermelon shall make up the evenin’ repast. All in all, a nice afternoon. Oh and we did burgers for N.O.L.
I’m more or less ungrumpy right now, but DH might change that. (grrr)
Looking forward to getting out of training and getting some space from some of my classmates. See my recent posts in the new and unimproved workplace rants thread for details.
I took my sweetie to DQ for a cool-down treat. He’s napping. I’ve brought in the laundry and it’s all put away. Clouds have moved in - hope it rains! We need it.
Other than that, chillage shall continue!

Boom booms and rain caused the remainin’ cee-mint pond revelers to move indoors. How sad! Now everyone is all showered and cleanded and relaxatin’ in the livin’ room.
Really clouded over and dark here - dare I hope for some rain??? We really need it.
On the other hand, lack of rain means we didn’t have to mow today, so there’s that.

My apartment looks so naked with nothing on the walls.
Everything on the list but the laundry and groceries is done. I will hit the sto’ after supper and do laundry tomorrow.

Supper was a scrambled-egg-n-provolone sammich. It filled a void, so there’s that.
Despite a good sleep last night, I’m yawning. Early bedtime, methinks.
I had a sgort day at owrk, ran a few errands ,the came home. I took a nap. Now it’s monsooning, and there’s a Flash flood Warning. Dinner is chicken with Chanterelle mushrooms, green beans and rice.
FCM, so would spackle. 
A very good dindin has been ingested along with water melon. JDD and Partner have departed. All is well at da cave.
Dammit, I want watermelon now!
Mmmmmmm spareguts.
We had steak and baked taters, corn and beans. Was good. Now to chill a bit and get ready for some much needed sleep.
