Program for copying home movie DVDs

I have some home movies on DVD that I’d like to copy. I seem to be having a very hard time doing so. I have Vista and from what I have read Vista doesn’t like to let people just simply copy DVDs. I’d like to get these out for Christmas and I’ve been pulling my hair out for the last hour or so.

What’s a good program, or way, to burn DVDs. I know you can buy programs, but I don’t want to buy a program that I’ll use a couple of times and that’s it.

ImgBurn works well and is free.

ImgBurn is free and will do what you need. Just set the mode to read and rip the DVD to an .iso image. Then switch the mode to write and and burn your DVD however many times you need.
