I went back and saw first two episodes–didn’t Mitchell say he wanted to be safe on the maternity dress challenge? Ugh! Stupid boy.

IIRC, Tim also said that the judges were in disagreement over the winner/loser. I noticed that Max Azria was conspicuously absent during the times the judges commented on the neoprene horror… . .

Gunn’s designs on the dress are purely charitable: he wants to win it as a gift for PR judge Nina Garcia. Why so? “On the runway, the deliberation went on and on, with no one in Ra’mon’s camp other than Nina. She was intent upon Ra’mon winning based on innovation. Heidi was like, ‘Who would wear that?’ and Nina firmly said, ‘I would!’ So I am watching the (Project Runway) website because we have two days and five hours remaining, and I am intent on winning that dress and I’m going to give it Nina!”

It is interesting how they edit it. At judging they made it seem like everyone adored this. I get the feeling that it made for good TV–look, the underdog (Ramon) won, and the lazy ass (Mitchell) went home. Okay, Mitchell was lazy but I still don’t think that made the dress any better. I don’t know that I think Ramon should have gone home but I don’t think he should have won.
