Propane powered cannon mouse trap.

Shawn Woods, who has a mouse catching channel called Mouse Trap Monday on YouTube, posted a video of a new mouse trap that is a cannon powered by propane fuel. It shoots the mice at a net and they drop into a kitty litter bucket. Sounds nasty, but it doesn’t hurt the mice. In fact, he kept them as pets, so it’s all in good fun.

Hank Hill would definitely approve of this one.

“Not the most practical, but by far the most fun”.
Living in the woods, I admit to watching this type video.
We used to have 4 outdoor cats and they kept things at least in check. Now I’m down to one old cat who I haven’t seen with a mouse in years, and one young killer.

Sorry, I want the little shits DEAD.

Fill the bucket with water.

My god it’s one of those little video games come to life

Pinky, are you pondering what I’m pondering?

If you want to go full supervillain you could fill the bucket with acid or shoot them into a wall of spikes.

If you really want to get into fantastic mousetraps (emphasis on fantasy), check out the traps for the Facebook game Mousehunt.

This board definitely needs a LIKE button!

My doofus cat brings me live mice (and worse) and lets them loose in the house. If I could train her to instead put the mouse in the trap, she could then retrieve it from the bucket and do it over and over and over again. More fun than laser pointer!
