Props from movies you instantly recognize

How?

ETA: Never mind. I see the URL now. I didn’t use it, if that makes any difference. BR just happens to be one of my Top Five.

Here’s one slightly harder.

How about “50 eggs”?

Not the most popular movie, but there’s no mistaking this car.
Unfortunately it was destroyed during filming.

Cool Hand Luke?

Here’s another: name the movie

Hmmm…only a replicant would know that…

That’s it!

Here’s an easy one.

I agree with spoke that to really count, it has to be something that you would recognize as “that’s X from movie Y” in any context. So even something as iconic as Dorothy’s ruby slippers might not jump out at you in certain contexts.
So I nominate Darth Vader’s mask from Star Wars.

So far I think Munch has the most recognizable one. Def beats batmobile, as different generations mean different things by the word. . .

MIB

Well done KneadToKnow

Here’s an easy one

There may be hundreds of movies using it, but name the first one that you can think of that features:

  1. a dentist’s drill
  2. a pair of pliers and a blowtorch
  3. ground up ping pong balls as an explosive

Shawshank?

Yep, Shawshank. OK, here’s a recent one.

And everybody knows this one, surely.

Inception

Silence of the Lambs
Here’s one a little bit more obscure (and I stress that I am not purporting this to be the actual prop from the film, but a representative).

Marathon Man?

I wonder what ever happened to these props? I’d recognize them anywhere, and they’d be great for scaring the hell out of Trick-or-Treat’ers.
