I think what does it for me with Predator is that I associate it more with Bill Duke than with Ah-nuld since Ah-nuld is always so much more at ease with heavy and unwieldy things. Duke is one of my favorite character actors, (along with Bill Nunn), and the image of that terrified look on his face as the mini-gun just keeps spinning after all the ammo is gone is as memorable as it gets.
