Prozac Nation is one of my favorite books of all time. I really can connect to the character and what she went through. The movie was supposed to come out in June/July. What is happening? Did it get released in major cities and me living in a sad little town has no idea?
The release date keeps getting pushed back for some reason. According to Yahoo here, the current release date is April 2004. Simply ridiculous, especially for a movie that’s been rumored to have at least some chance for an Oscar nomination.
The movie was first pushed back after author Elizabeth Wurtzel made some comments about September 11th.
The latest release date is April 2004, as Skott mentioned. The Oscars are the most likely reason for the delay. They have pushed it back to the '04 Oscar window, having obviously now missed the '03 Oscars.
